The controller of the personal data collected through this site is Vicens Advisors, S.L.U., NIF B88827894, Avinguda Baix des Cos 64, Bajos A, 07500 Manacor, Illes Balears, Spain, info@tramuntanatax.com.
What we collect and why
Through the contact form we collect your name, email address, telephone number if you give it, the situation you select and the message you write. We use them for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if you instruct us, to prepare an engagement. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form (article 6.1.a of the GDPR), and, once you instruct us, the performance of the contract (article 6.1.b) and our legal obligations (article 6.1.c).
Through the booking calendar, if you use it, the provider of that service collects the data needed to schedule the call under its own privacy policy, which is linked from the calendar.
When you send the form, our server also records the date and the IP address from which it was sent, as evidence of your consent and to prevent abuse.
If you write to us on WhatsApp, the conversation takes place on a service operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta), which processes your telephone number and the metadata of the conversation under its own privacy policy and may transfer data to the United States. Using WhatsApp is your choice: email and the form are always available, and we do not ask for documents through WhatsApp.
Through analytical cookies, if you accept them, we collect pseudonymised usage data. Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept. See the cookie policy.
The fonts used on this site are served from our own server. No request is made to Google Fonts or to any other third party when a page loads.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted after twelve months. Data of clients is kept for the duration of the engagement and thereafter for the periods required by tax, anti-money-laundering and professional rules, which can reach ten years.
Who receives it
Your data is not sold or shared for marketing. It is processed by Vicens Advisors and, where the matter requires a lawyer and you agree, by Lexon, which then acts as a separate controller bound by professional secrecy. Our hosting and email provider (Hostinger International Ltd) processes it on our behalf as a processor, and its servers keep technical access logs for a limited time for security purposes. Where we file returns on your behalf, the data is transmitted to the Spanish tax authorities as required by law.
Your rights
You may access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and request its portability, by writing to info@tramuntanatax.com. We will ask for proof of identity only where we have reasonable doubts about who is making the request. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing; for analytical cookies, use the cookie settings link at the foot of every page. You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency, www.aepd.es, or to the data protection authority of the country where you live.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Documents you send us for an engagement go through a secure link, not through the contact form. Please do not send passwords, card numbers or identity documents through the form.
